Aquasplash Cote d'Azur is one of the newest water parks in South France. It is located close to Nice on the Cote d'Azur coast. Aquasplash is part of a giant waterpark complex that also encompasses an Aquarium (Marineland), a children's theme park (Kids Island) and golf course. The park is well laid-out and seems to cater more for under 13 children.
Marineland Cote d'Azur is one of the best aquariums in France, if not the World. Marineland is a full blown water complex encompassing an outdoor aquarium, water park, kids adventure park and a golf course. The Park Phoenix ecological park and zoo is a great choice if you are looking for things to do with the kids in South of France. The zoo is situated in a large wood close to Nice airport on the outskirts of Nice. There is a giant lake with fountains, as well as a giant greenhouse that accommodates the tropical plants. This zoo in Nice, France, is a great place to take the kids.

We have visited the Frejus aqualand water park and this seems to be the biggest of the three water parks, with more slides and it is situated in a bigger park.

Barben zoo, is located close to the village of Pélissane, in between Salon de Provence and Aix-en-Provence in South France.
