The house has been updated to a very high standard and provides very comfortable accommodation. The house benefits from wifi, modern appliances and refurbished bathrooms. The long beach at Argeles-sur-Mer is ideal for children.

This villa for South of France beach holidays is located close to the coast in Argeles sur Mer. Argeles has some of the best beaches in the South of France, with 7 kms of coastline and 3 kms of small coves. The resort that has been granted the blue flag award for its beaches and harbour. It has two nature reserves: Mas Larrieu nature reserve by the sea and La Massane forest in the heart of the Albères. Argelès-sur-Mer itself is A typical village, with a warren of its narrow streets, colourful buildings and a lovely 14th century Church. The town is just 20 kilometres from Perpignan. There is a local train station with services to Perpignan and down the coast to Collioure and Port Vendres. At the back of the house, there are a number of paths which take you up into the mountains.

There is a local train station in Argeles-sur-Mer (quite near the house) which provides local trains to Collioure and up to Perpignan. From Perpignan you can access the mainline TGV trains to Paris, Barcelona, Montpellier, Toulouse, etc.

Perfect
The house is a very short walk from the train station so is suitable for those without a car. It is a five minute train journey to Collioure and around 1/2 hour walk to Argeles-sur-mer beaches (bus available too). Good Carrefour supermarket and bakeries at the local shops. We really enjoyed staying in the house. It has a large kitchen and dining table. The living room is very large with 3 sofas and opens onto the back garden. There is a study room and plenty of bathrooms/toilets. There were 6 adults staying and it still felt very roomy. The pool area is very relaxing with lots of sun loungers and lovely for a dip to cool down.Overall one of the very nicest properties I`ve stayed in - furnished to a high standard and very clean. I`d thoroughly recommend it. The kitchen was well stocked with everyday essentials, e.g. dishwasher tablets, spices, foil, kitchen roll, etc. Plenty of pans, plates, glasses and utensils. The owners were very helpful and friendly, and there was milk, cheese, bread, cold meats, tea bags and a bottle of wine on arrival.

superb house
The location is quiet and peaceful; the facilities are second to none. We had two 19 year olds and a younger child; all found plenty to occupy them. We particularly recommend the canyoning park. We did a day trip to Spain that was really worthwhile. A beautiful part of the country. It is a real family home with an attention to detail.
