Maison de Valros is a calm and tranquil holiday home with private pool close to Pezenas, South France. The house has lots of space for a perfect family holiday. The home is traditionally furnished but has all the mod cons to make your holiday as stress free as possible. With its wooden beams and stone walls it is a very charming home. There is a large 9.5 x 5m pool, a vast garden, various seating and relaxation areas and 3 good sized bedrooms sleeping 6 very comfortably. The house is located in the pretty wine making village of Valros just a hop, skip & jump to the Historic town of Pezenas.
Maison de Valros holiday villa France - Our opinion:
Last visited June 2021. A wonderful holiday villa near Pezenas, South France. The large garden is lovely and has BBQ, summer kitchen, terraces and a private pool.
The property can sleep 6 guests in 3 bedrooms and is located in a quiet village with easy access to the Mediterranean beaches, local airports and the sites of the Languedoc region.
The village of Valros has a 2 excellent restaurants, including the popular Auberge de la Tour.

This South France holiday villa is located in the ancient village of Valros. Valros has a long history of wine production and you will find some excellent Domaines on your doorstep, where you can buy fantastic wine very cheaply. Valros also possesses 2 excellent restaurants. There are two bars, including one that serves simple Languedoc cooking, a newsagent, a general foodstore, and a couple of fruit and vegetable stalls. Around Valros there are plenty of opportunities for walks and cycle rides.
Valros is 5 minutes away from the wonderfully historic town of Pezenas. Pezenas is widely regarded as the prettiest town in Languedoc and offers plenty of opportunities for shopping in its boutiques and art galleries. Pezenas market on a Saturday is excellent and should not be missed.
Other Languedoc sites nearby include, the Canal du Midi, Carcassonne (1 hour), and Montpellier. The beaches surrounding Cap dAgde are just 15mins away by car. Beziers is a short drive away if you need any big town facilities and the Beziers feria in mid-August should not be missed.

There is a TGV train station in Beziers. There is a regular bus service between Beziers and Valros.

Excellent holiday!
Have just spent 3 lovely weeks with children and grandchildren at the quaint village of Valros. The house was perfect and the owners could have not been more pleasant and helpful. They lent us "extras" such as 2 mountain bikes, an extra high chair, etc. And lots of suggestions, etc. The location was very good, near the sea, and other interesting tows.

Fantastic property, with all home comforts, lovely pool and in great location
The property is situated in the small town of Valros, which had all you needed - a boulangerie, 2 restaurants, fruit and veg shop and small shop. It is 10 mins drive from the beautiful town of Pezenas and 20 minutes to the beach.
The property itself is lovely and the photos do not do it justice. It is superbly equipped and has and has use of a lovely private pool.

Brilliant Holiday in lovely location
We had a really lovely time at this lovely Villa. The owners were very welcoming and nice. They had a lovely welcome gift of wine and beer with soft drinks for the children cooling in the fridge. They even dropped us in some fresh tomatoes later in the week which were beautiful. Valros is a lovely quiet french village and Pezenas which is less than a ten minute drive is the most beautiful picturesque town you could imagine and really worth exploring. It is a great location if you have transport to visit Carcassone, Montpellier and several Med beaches are all within half an hour drive. We would have no hesitation recommending this villa to family and friends and would definitely consider a return visit in the future.
