Last visited: Feb 2020. If you are looking for a South France holidays rental with pool, then this Villa in Sommieres is perfect. The villa can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people and is furnished to a high standard. Sommieres is a beautiful little town, situated in the countryside between Nimes and Montpellier. You have your choice of low cost airports nearby (Nimes, Montpellier, Avignon and Marseille) and you can really soak up that South France sun by the pool in this villa. You will also find plenty of good wine, cheese and decent restaurants nearby. This excellent villa South of France is a real hit with our customers and is regularly booked out all summer long. The perfect holidays rental with pool in the South of France!

Villa Sommieres is located in the picturesque town of Sommieres. Sommieres is beautiful medieval town, which offers plenty of sightseeing and activities, both locally and in it's surrounding areas. One of Sommieres' key features is it's Roman bridge, built by the emperor Tiberus in the First century AD. Above the town stands a castle, built in the 10 century. Visits here must not be missed!
A wide range of festivities take place in Sommieres, including the Medieval fair in April, and the Town Saint's fair in the summer. You can also visit Sommieres' well known weekly market which takes place on Saturdays. This served as the set during the filming of the French film "Manon des Sources".

There is a TGV train station in Montpellier. There is a local bus service between Sommieres and Montpellier.

Best holiday we`ve had
It was one of the best holidays we've had and we've been away twice a year for a dozen years. The house was good and well appointed – the details you provided were accurate – I like the one price inc cleaning, linen and any other charges – the on site representative was there to help but not to interfere – nice pool – the location was good close to Sommieres centre – the weather certainly helped! I`d recommend the house and Go South France!!"

Sommieres is a beautiful little town, situated in the countryside between Nimes and Montpellier.
