This luxury villa in France with private pool is located in the village of Puissalicon in South France, just 25 minutes from the Mediterranean beaches . It is spacious villa with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and can sleep up to 8 people. There is a private pool (9m x 4m), large sun terrace, summer kitchen, pond with Koi carp and WiFi internet. This 4 bedroom luxury villa is situated on the outskirts of the village.

Last visited September 2019. This luxury villa in France with private pool is ideally set up for family holidays to France. Sleeping up to 8 people, this villa can easily accommodate a large group or two families staying together. The property is decorated and furnished to a very high standard. Highly recommended.

Puissalicon is located 10 minutes north of Béziers, 25 minutes from the Mediterranean coast, 15 minutes from Pézenas and within 1 hour of Montpellier and Carcassonne airports.
Puissalicon is one of the famous ´circulade´ villages, the ancient houses constructed in a spiral fashion outwards from the centre. Features include a beautiful roman tower.
All the facilities you will need are available in the village including café bar / restaurant, baker, grocery store, post office, newsagent and café bar.
The neighbouring village of Magalas (2 ½ km) has three great restaurants, further café bars, bank with UK cash-machine facility, supermarket and pizzeria.
All round are wine caves for tasting and buying. Great walks in the endless vineyards. Good hiking and spectacular scenery in the Gorges and Languedoc National Park (30 mins).
All the attractions of the Mediterranean coastline only 25 mins. Choose from busy, activity-based beaches with all water sports and waterside cafés and restaurants or a more peaceful, tranquil beach with almost infinite sand and child-friendly waterfront.
Mediterranean beaches 25 mins. Nearest beach is Valras-Plage with superb beachfront restaurants and cafés. Beach with all water sports, and children´s activities.
Other transport
There is a TGV train station in Beziers. A local bus service runs in between Puissalicon and Beziers and there is also a local train station in between Puisssalicon and the neighbouring village of Magalas.

Lovely Villa in Tourbes!
We stayed as a family of four (parents and daughters of 20 and 16) at this property in Puissalicon for three weeks holiday in August 2019. We have had a lovely time enjoying this attractive property and the surrounding area. I would have no hesitation recommending the property and wouldn`t mind returning in the future. Booking was easy through Go South France.com.
The property is large and well maintained, and could easily accommodate 2 families or a larger family group.
The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need on a holiday, it is quite home from home. The living area is very comfortable with aircon, TV etc. The WIFI was really useful for the girls with their hectic social life through media!! and husband who had to work some mornings, the access to an office area on the mezzanine was excellent and much appreciated. Use of the printer if needed was really helpful.
You can dine inside or outside on the large terrace enjoying the views of the garden and the attractive surrounding countryside. Lovely views of vineyards and the local church. There is a part of the terrace that can be enjoyed in the sun with a sunshade that can be extended out if you need it. The terrace leads down some steps to the pool and pool terrace. The pool is large, is unheated, cleaned regularly and was certainly needed on the hot summer days we stayed around the villa. It has steps leading into the water and it was nice to lower yourself in a bit at a time. The terrace around the pool was large and furnished with sun loungers and deckchairs. Plenty of room to stretch out or move around.
We felt safe within the villa and grounds; neighbours when we saw them, were very friendly. The village is a short walk away and has a small local shop, a bread shop and a small weekly market.
There are plenty of places to visit nearby. Nearby Pezenas is a wonderful town anytime, a bit busy in summer, but great on Wednesday and Friday nights in July and August when the shops stay open late with street entertainers, wine tasting and local food products available in a party type atmosphere. There are loads of bars and restaurants to suit most tastes. For essential food shopping there are larger supermarkets around the town.
Other places worth a visit were the Pont Romaine and the old mill at St Thibery, Pont du Diable near to St Guilhem, Sete, Cap D`Agde, Beziers, Carcasonne, Montepellier (for the girly shopping fix), Marseillan, and Marseillan Plage (good fun fair there too).
We have been really impressed with the villa. It is well planned and thoughtfully allows access to books and facilities sometimes not available at other properties. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and hope to return in the future.
