These beautiful gites in South of France come with a heated, infinity pool which overlooks the river. These gites are a short drive (35 minutes) to the sandy beaches of the Mediterranean coast and are within walking distance of a couple of restaurants
Le Moulin de Pattus is a beautiful 17th century Water Mill, now converted into 3 high quality gites in South of France, in between Nimes and Montpellier. The gites are situated on a river bank on the edge of the pretty village of Salinelles, which is close to the medieval town of Sommieres. These beautiful gites in South of France come with a large pool, extensive grounds and views over the local river. Here we have featured one of the gites to rent called River End gite. This lovely ground floor gite is spacious and comes with 4 bedrooms.
Le Moulin de Pattus gites in South of France - Our opinion
Last visited April 2018. If you are looking for high quality holiday gites in South of France in a stunning location, then Le Moulin de Pattus may be the perfect choice. With large pool, adventure playground, games room, WiFi and air conditioning and 35 mins to the beaches, these gites provide everything that you could want from a family holiday in France.
With gorgeous river views and plenty of walks along the local lanes, this really is an idyllic spot to unwind and relax.

The pretty village of Salinelles is 3km from the beautiful town of Sommieres. This wonderful South France town has a spectacular Roman bridge over the river and lots of medieval architecture. The historic cities of Nimes and Montpellier are both about 30 mins drive away. Nimes has many Roman attractions such as the Arenes - the best preserved amphitheatre in Europe. Montpellier is a wonderful place for shopping, sporting activities and wandering through the narrow streets. The Pont du Gard is the famous and spectacular Roman 3 tier aqueduct is about 1 hour away. Anduze, Quissac, Uzes, Aigues Mortes and Avignon are some of the local towns that you may want to visit in this marvellous corner of South France. You will find many vibrant open air markets, full of local crafts and produce, and also ´brocantes´ which are furniture and antiques markets.
In the summer, Nimes has evening markets with plenty of open air dining in the warm summer nights. The Mediterranean coast is 30 minutes drive away and ou will find long sandy beaches of La Grande Motte. Diving, sailing and wind-surfing opportunities are plentiful along this coast.

Relaxing holiday
The Moulin is a great to relax and enjoy activities with family and/or friends. The weather is often warm and good. We had three days of sun. The owners who live by the the moulin are really nice and attentive persons.

The security deposit is €375 per week.
Please note that the pool is a traditional bassin style pool, ie. not tiled. The pool is open from the beginning of May until mid October and is heated. Additional cleaning is available on request (in advance), payable locally €15 per hour.
