These French holiday gites are convenient for exploring all the sites of the South of France and are close to the village amenities. The beautiful city of Carcassonne with it´s celebrated castle is just down the road and the beaches at Gruissan and Narbonne Plage are just 25 mins.

If you are two families travelling together, you can rent the adjoining gite (which also accommodates 2-4 people).

In the village there is a fabulous boulangerie, a grocery store, hairdresser, doctors, post office ,newsagent, and a very good proper French restaurant set in an old chateau with gardens! There are local tennis courts to work off all that delicious French food! Everything is just minutes away or you can borrow our bikes and cycle to collect your morning croissants! Individuals , couples and families alike can all enjoy the space. Why not book all the gites together and come with friends (the advantage of not sharing the same villa.... separate front doors ! so come as friends and still leave as them!)
From the village of Ferrals les Corbieres are numerous scenic walks. One of our favourites takes you through the vines and into the nearby historic village of Fabrezan which is buzzing with restaurants, cafes and atmospheric bars.
5 minutes drive away are two well stocked supermarkets with good fish and meat counters and bakeries. Another 5 minute drive and you are in Lezignan les Corbieres the local town with a number of shops and restaurants.
20km to the Mediterranean beaches.

Absolutely fab week
Thank you for an absolutely fab week. The gite is beautiful and I will be taking some ideas home with me. Thanks also for the recommendations. We loved the river at Ribaute and the lovely restaurants. The scenery has been spectacular.

Great holiday
We had a great holiday, Relaxed and stimulating- relaxed because of the fabulous gite, uncrowded pool, and warm welcome of the hosts. Stimulating because of the history of the area and dramatic landscape. Thank you!

This is the kind of place I want to live.
Had a brilliant time, gite wonderful, decoration best taste possible, living quarters brilliant, plus a pool, bbq and advice on restraurants. What a wonderful job Simon and Honor are doing. They deserve every success. Una and Eujene We arrived as paying guests but hopefully left as friends.
