Gorgeous building and decoration

House - we loved. Gorgeous building and decoration, we loved all the antiques. Slightly terrified we`d break something with two small children but luckily we didn`t! We thought the pool and garden area was great, really safe for families but grown up too. So lovely to have this on the property. Great outdoor eating and bbq facilities. Lots of good beds and bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom facilities were all really well equipped. I think it would have been nice to maybe have some basics like olive oil and salt and pepper or kitchen roll and washing up liquid as buying these things for just a few days then leaving them is expensive, but I understand that is just the policy in some places.

The owner was great especially considering the saga with the washing machine! In the end he posted our clothes back and I wanted to transfer money for the postage but it was below the minimum amount. So I might put the cash in a Christmas card! The village was just the right size with the fantastic pizza restaurant and bar keeping us fed and watered. The boulangerie was open but not the grocery store. The supermarkets you told us about weren`t far either. It was nice to stay in a `working” village rather than a massively touristy area too. The coast and inland all easy to reach, all in all we had a really wonderful time.

stylish house, great for holidays.

We stayed 1 week in the house with our 3 children and had a great time. The house is stylish and has a garden with terrace and a gated swimming pool so perfect with young children.

The owner - who doesn`t speak English - was friendly and helpful with any queries, and so was Jane from Go South France.com. Her website has many useful tips for the Languedoc area but she responds quickly to e-mail queries as well. While Nezignan-l`Eveque is a nice but sleepy little town there is a lot to do in the area, including nice beaches a short drive away.We enjoyed our stay and recommend both the house and Go South France.com for future holidays.

Loved this place

Loved this place as it was so calm in the village and not crowded with tourists, yet we were so close to lively beaches and activities when we wanted them. Great for families or couples wanting a charming authentic village experience in France but also under blue skies and near blue sea.

We had a great holiday

The house was lovely, and its location was great, near enough to many places within half an hours drive. The restaurant at the hotel at the other end of the village was excellent, but comparatively expensive. We also enjoyed the pedorail, but is probably more suited to younger families. Carcassone definitely worth the visit. I would like to have visited a vineyard, but we ran out of time. We would certainly consider coming back. Many thanks for your help.
