Sete Apartment, South of France - Our Opinion
Last visited June 2020. A wonderful location and great renovated apartment. Ideal for a relaxing holiday in the South of France. The apartment is well equipped and an ideal for a couple or small family. A few minutes walk to the harbour and all amenities. The apartment is up several stairs so not suitable for the old, infirm or very young.

Sete itself is wonderful, and the Camargue, Montpellier, Arles, Beziers, Nimes, Carcassonne, Muscat vineyards, high hills and lakes are all within easy reach (even Spain is less than two hours away). The area also boasts loads of culinary treats, including fabulous fresh fish, Italian food specialities (such as tielle - a squid and mussel pie), oyster cultivation in the etang, and a great many restaurants lining the canal and port....

Centrally located apartment
We had a great stay in Neil`s apartment, which is very centrally located and everything is within easy walking distance. The upper floor which is very bright and spacious has a nice terrace with a beautiful view. We made some good and some negative experiences during our stay in S?te. We found everything we needed for cooking in the kitchen as it is well equipped. We would totally recommend the flat to others, but maybe for two adults only as the two single beds weren`t very comfortable.

Relaxing stay
I had a short and very relaxing stay in this beautiful airy flat, including enjoying a glass or two, or three, of wine on the terrace. The upstairs room is lovely and light and there`s lots of space to spread out in. It`s a really nice tranquil place to be. The bedrooms downstairs are quiet and comfortable and all in all the flat felt like a good place to be from the moment I walked in the door. It is in a handy position, it took me less than two minutes to walk to the grand canal for dinner. One little thing is that it`s on the third and fourth floor of a house in the old town and the stairs are quite steep, so I wouldn`t think it`d suit much older people or very young children.

Great stay
We had a great stay in Neil`s apartment. It has a lovely upstairs and terrace where we spent most of our time when we weren`t at the beach. All in all the apartment was a great base and location for Sete and the beaches. Great stay!
