Situated just 100 metres from the beach and close to all the amenities, you do not need to wander far to find everything that you need. Easy to reach Nice, Monte Carlo, Cannes and Italy. With public transport connections close-by, there is no need to hire a car. Nice airport is less than 30 minutes. You will find a small selection of the owner´s paintings throughout the apartment giving the atmosphere of a home rather than an impersonal rental property. Guests come back time and time again.

Drive into the hills of Eze or Vence which are stunning, or the mountains for skiing an hour away. This area has so much to offer in the way of art, history, luxury and indulgence - whatever your taste.
Villefranche Old Town dates back to the 12th century and is a good place to eat plus a wonderful beach and sea to swim in. This is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places in the world. Jean Cocteau stayed and is famous for decorating the little fisherman chapel on the quay. Many famous people choose this area to live. Tina Turner has a house in the hills and Elton John has a house close by.
Great restaurants a few minutes away and the village full of history and charm. The local shops are on the doorstep. With its micro-climate it is perfect here all year round. Without doubt this is one of the world´s most romantic and beautiful locations, within easy access of Nice airport.
Beach: Villefranche has its own lovely beach and the bay is beautiful for swimming. There are restaurants along the promenade serving wonderful food. My guests at Christmas last year took their roast dinner down and ate it on the beach as the weather can be lovely and famously warm and sunny on New Years day.

Markets: Saturday sees the farmers market at the top of the village in the main gardens of the town. Every Sunday there is an antiques market in the Place Pollonais.
The Citadel: Built in 1557 on the site of a smaller fort on the orders of Emmanuel Philibert, Duke of Savoy, by his architect, Provana de Leyni. Today, it houses the Town hall, a congress centre, some museums, and an open air theatre.

Villa Rothschild: Is another wonderful Villa on Cap Ferrat built in the classic Belle Epoque style. Also famous for the wonderful gardens. Take the bus or you can walk there in about 40 minutes.
Villa Kerylos: Is a wonderful replica of a Greek Villa built on the island of Delos at the height of Greek civilization about 2,300 years ago. It is beautiful and well worth a visit. You can take the bus or the train (one stop to Beaulieu) or walk via the sea promenade which will take about a 30 minutes.
The Institute de Francais: Is a world famous French Language School that uses the full-immersion method of learning. Students stay in our apartments on a regular basis.
Other transport
The train which is 3 minutes away runs all along the coast. Nice or Monaco are ten minutes away or you can be in Italy in 40 minutes.

What a little gem
What a little gem Artistes Tresor is! My family (me plus my husband and three teenage sons) stayed here for a week and we couldn`t have been more comfortable. We really felt like part of the community. The apartment is right in the old town on the second floor of an old building with great views over the bay. We spent hours sitting on the lovely little balcony happily watching the boats coming in and out of the bay. It was an easy stroll to all the restaurants in the town and the little supermarket is almost next door! The beach is also an easy stroll along the harbour wall. And the train station is a five minute walk down the hill and gives access to lots of interesting places up and down the coast - we made day trips to Eze and Ventimiglia in Italy. The apartment is very comfortable and immaculately clean and felt like a home from home.

Great base for exploring the South of France
We stayed at the apartment for a week in the beginning of June. The apartment looks exactly like the pictures posted online and is in excellent condition: luxurious and comfortable. The view from the living room onto the bay is amazing. We couldn`t stop looking out the window and saying "We can`t believe we`re here!" A wonderful place, with easy check-in and out, and great amenities. The parking space makes this place an ideal base for exploring the south of France for vacationers with a car. The beach is about a 10-15 walk from the apartment, with the old town being along the way. The kitchen is great for preparing some meals at home and enjoying breakfast on the wonderful balcony. Wifi in the apartment allows you to stay in touch. After spending the day in town, the walk uphill back to the apartment allows you to work off some of the calories from the copious goodies you eat. The walk home up the hill may be a challenge for some, but we found it invigorating. Would love to come back!
