Amenities
Area activities
St Quentin is a pretty village with cobbled streets and is a centre for pottery making. As well as an exhibition centre there are many potters with displays in the village and there is a ´pot market´ in Uzes (3km) each Saturday. Apart from the medieval town of Uzes it is close to Pont du Gard, Avignon, Nimes, Ardeche, Camargue and the coast. The area provides something for everyone - tennis, golf, swimming, walking, canoing, cycling (rental in the village) and wonderful gorge scenery.
The village has a small Carrefour for all groceries and there is a market on Tuesday and Friday mornings with local foods on sale. In the village there are 3 bars (2 serving food 30 degres Sud and Bar du Marche), 2 restaurants (1 in the hotel Les Clos des Pradines), and Delice des Anges, 2 cafes in the old village, a Poste and a Presse selling English papers and 3 boulangeries. There is a cash machine next to the Tourist Information Office in the market place.
The local Cave Co-operative sells an excellent range of local (good) wines, some very cheaply. Some of the potters display their goods in an Exhibition Centre and there is a small museum of pottery making. In July and August there are village festivals (see St Quentin web for details of dates and events).
There are tennis courts and cycle rental a few minutes walk from the house.
At Uzes there are markets twice a week, with bars and restaurants around the market area (Place aux Herbes), many other bars and restaurants, banks and access to all leisure interests.
Avignon (25 minutes): Famous for the “Palais des Papes,“ its summer festival, its museums and of course its “Bridge.“
Nimes: Nimes` Roman arenas almost intact Roman arena holds special events from Corridas (bull fights) to musical festivals.
Pont du Gard (8 minutes): A 2,000 year old, Roman-built aqueduct of grandiose proportions. One of France`s most visited monuments.
Other transport

Incredibly well-equipped
We stayed here with another couple of friends and found it surpassed all our expectations. It is exceptionally well-equipped and has plenty of comfortable chairs and sofas. It was spotlessly clean and very spacious. We enjoyed cooling down in the plunge pool! The village is within easy walking distance and there are shops, bars and a couple of good restaurants.Lots of interesting excursions including Pont du Gard, Avignon, Orange and the delightful local town of Uzes.

A touch of real France
We 2 pensioners had a superb holiday at the house in 2 weeks of very hot sunny weather. House very well furnished, kitchen and utility good modern equipment. Good boulangerie and metro-style small Carrefour in easy walking reach. Indoor swimming pool and conservatory needed cooling off on afternoon return but they will extend the season in the spring and autumn. Deep pool gave a nice end to the day. Lots of places to visit. A touch of the real France. Quiet private garden- lawn and shade

By far the best holiday home we have stayed in
We have stayed in a lot of holiday homes in France and this is by far the best. The facilities are fantastic ,you have restaurants with in ten minutes walk ,weekly market and farmers market. Or just sit in the wonderful garden and chill out. If you get to hot cool down in the pool.
