Located approximately 1 hour from the Mediterranean coast and close to all the sites of Languedoc Roussillon and Provence.

If you have ever wanted to stay in a large historical chateau, then this is the place for you. Mas d´Olivier dates back to the 15th century and oozes charm throughout.
Located on the edge of the spectacular Cevennes National Park, Near Ales it is a perfect location for Walking, Hiking, Running, Cycling and much much more. It is a perfect home for large groups, sleeping 22 very comfortably in its 9 bedrooms. It benefits from its own swimming pool, extensive gardens and fabulous location, what else do you need. You could be sunbathing next to pool with a glass of the regions beautiful wine in your hand...perfect!

Servas, a small village of 180 inhabitants, situated at the foot of the Cevennes, offers a wide panoramic view of the Aigoual massif to the west, Mount Lozère and the mountains of the Ardèche in the north, Mount Bouquet to the East. The location of the Chateau is especially ideal for touring and discover the many natural and historical sites. The Cevennes region, which is extremely popular with walkers and cyclists in France, is also a gastronomic centre and close to this Chateau you will find many local producers of goats cheese, honey, olive oil and various other delights. There is an excellent restaurant just 2 kms from the Chateau and you will also find many other well-priced restaurants nearby.
The town of Anduze is always a pleasure to walk around with its boutique shops and excellent market. Anduze is also home to the famous Bambouserie - the bamboo gardens. Also close at hand you will be able to explore the Roman city of Nimes, the Pont du Gard Roman aqueduct, the beautiful town of Uzes and many more lovely local villages.
Less than 1 hour away from the Chateau you can reach: Mount Lozère (1700m) in the north, the Mediterranean beaches to the south, the city of Avignon with the famous Palais des Papes and summer arts festival, the cosmopolitan city of Montpellier and the Camargue natural park.

There is a TGV train station at Nimes, with regular regional train services to Ales.

Driving directions
Servas is located North-West of the City of Nimes, close to the large town of Ales (not to be confused with Arles, which is on the eastern side of Nimes!).
From the A9 motorway either take the D6 road from Orange, or the D981 from the Remoulins junction towards the direction of Uzes and Ales (just North of Nimes).
A great place to relax with family
A very beautiful place, the house is large and on several levels, which allows to live in a group (even 20 people!) Without feeling on top of each other. The outdoor spaces are greatly appreciated. The elevated terrace has a breathtaking view!
The rooms are well appointed but of varying comfort (rooms on the top floors, more "rustic"). The pool is pleasantly exposed with shade. The place was very appreciated by the children, who could enjoy all the spaces.

Great holiday at Mas de L`Olivier
Without doubt the Mas de l`Olivier is a farmhouse where life is good. The farmhouse is large, the rooms are spacious and well appointed, the 2 large terraces are very nice and the outdoor areas are large enough for children to play and romp without disturbing. The pool is secure and has a little pleasant shade in the hottest afternoon.
Everything is there to spend a great holiday with family and friends. Not to mention the friendly welcome, advice and helpfulness of the owner. To recommend without hesitation.
