The master bedroom is on the top floor of the villa and comes with an extremely large terrace/balcony, with ensuite bathroom (bath and walkin shower) and dressing area. You can spend you evenings on the balcony enjoying the fantastic views with a bottle of wine!

There are 3 other double bedrooms, one of which has it's own en-suite shower and toilet, and separate access to garden and pool. Two of the rooms contain 2 single beds (for kids). There is also a communal bathroom for the other two bedrooms. There is another toilet facility near the lounge. The large swimming pool (13x6) is located in the established garden area. The pool is 3m deep at the deep end and is a welcome respite from the hot South France sun. There is a handy pool house with changing room, shower and toilet facilites. The pool house also has a "cuisine d''ete" (summer kitchen) which saves you having to go back and forth to the house. The pool area comes equipped with an outdoor Bar and BBQ with grills- fridges and cooking facilities - perfect for parties in the garden!!

Finally there is also a large garage for storage.In the garage you will find the washing machine and dryer, as well as a ping pong table if you are feeling energetic.

Sommieres is an exceptional, picturesque medieval South France town, which offers plenty of sightseeing and activities, both locally and in it's surrounding areas. One of Sommieres's key features is it's Roman bridge, built by the emperor Tiberus in the First century AD. Above the town stands a castle, built in the 10 century. Visits here must not be missed!

A wide range of festivities take place in Sommieres, including the Medieval fair in April, and the Town Saint's fair in the summer. You can also visit Sommieres' well known weekly market which takes place on Saturdays. This served as the set during the filming of the French film "Manon des Sources".

Outside of Sommieres, you are 25 minutes from Nimes, which boast fantastic sightseeing with it's Roman Amphitheatres and Baths, and 25 minutes from Montpellier with great shopping, dining and Street theatre in it's grand square. For the Nature lovers - the Mediterranean Sea is 20 mins away (there are a number of beaches in the region which are between 20 and 30 minutes from Sommieres). There is also the National Park of Cevennes, which offers great walks, bike rides, bamboo plantation in Anduze, an old train line and other surprises.
