This Winter rental, Languedoc is on the edge of the village of Puissalicon, can accommodate 6-8 people. The long term rental accommodation is all on the first floor above a very spacious garage. Puissalicon is near Beziers in the Languedoc region of the South of France.This is an ideal location whether house hunting in the South of France or having an extended holiday.
Winter rental Languedoc facilities:
The first floor consists of a sitting room, with television/video, it also has convertible sofa beds. There are three bedrooms, a twin and two doubles.
The kitchen is light and airy with views of the surrounding vineyards. It is equipped with a dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave and combination gas/electric cooker with oven.
There is a bathroom with full sized bath, and shower attachment, wash hand basin and toilet. There is also a separate wash hand basin and toilet.
Outside there is a large, covered tiled terrace area which has outdoor furniture and a built in BBQ. This leads out to the large, secluded garden and swimming pool (seasonal.) The garden is approx 300 sq. metres with fruit trees and shrubs. There is an extensive patio area and outdoor shower.

This winter rental Languedoc is a modern, well equipped copy with the added bonus of garden and terrace. Located close to Beziers and the major road and train networks and several airports are within one hour.The winter rental house is ideal for someone elderly or with mobility issues.
This winter rental, Languedoc, is in the village of Puissalicon. It is a delightful French village, 20km from the coast and 25 minutes drive from the beautiful medieval town of Pezenas. The village dates back to the 11th century but has its origins in Roman times. It is dominated by a large 14th century chateau and church. The village itself has a small supermarket, a bar and a boulangerie. The nearest restaurants are just 10 minutes away. It is within 20km of National Parkland, the beautiful countryside of the Southern Cevennes mountains and the very attractive village of Roquebrun on the river Orb. This rental is ideally situated for sampling the delights of the sandy Mediterranean beaches along the Languedoc coast.
The area is renowned for its micro-climate created by its location south of the Cevennes mountains which gives the region an exceptionally sunny climate. Montpellier, Perpignan and Carcassonne airports are less than 1½ hours drive.
The well known coastal area of Cap D' Agde is 1 hr. drive from the house. It has some 14 kilometres of fine beaches and many attractions for the children such as "Toonland" and the famous Aqua Park. As well as beaches, there are beautiful lakes, mountains and gorges within one hours drive.
The area has large numbers of medieval towns and villages to visit including Pezenas, St. Guilheim-le -Desert and the Cite of Carcassonne. Just over an hours drive will take you to the heart of the 'Cathar' country with its imposing castles and monasteries.
Opportunities for river swimming and canoeing are only 15k from the house. The area around Puissalicon is ideal for cycling and hill-walking.
