This South of France holiday home is in the village of Nezignan L'Eveque, 4km from Pezenas and 13km to the nearest beach.  Located in the center of the village only a few metres for the local shops, bar, and hotel with restaurant, the house itself is a modern 2 storey conversion of an old remise, dating back some 200 years and the original chestnut beams are still visible in the roof.  Can sleep 4-5.

The ground floor of this South of France holiday home includes an open-plan lounge with comfortable seating, TV and fire place (functional.) Dining area with table and 4 chairs.   The kitchen is equipped with an electric hob, fridge, microwave/combination oven, dishwasher and double sink. There is a storage area containing shelving and a freezer. Also on this floor is a w.c.

Upstairs are two large bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two singles. A separate folding bed and bedding is available to accommodate a fifth person or child. The upstairs bathroom contains w.c. hand basin, and shower. Heating, if needed, is provided by electric wall heaters.  Flooring throughout is in ceramic tiling.

Outside this South of France holiday home there is a ground floor terrace/small garden with table and chairs for al-fresco dining.   A barbecue and fuel is stored in the garage.  There is a large double garage with parking for 2 cars and the washing machine. The owners live in the village (5 minute walk) and you can use their 10x5m swimming pool by arrangment during your stay.

Last visisted February 2009. This South of France holiday home is ideal if you want to find budget self-catering accommodation close to Pezenas, but still be situated amongst the vineyards. Nezignan l'Eveque is conveniently located to explore the sites Languedoc Roussillon and the South of France. A great gite with the added advantage of off - street parking for 2 cars, outside space and the use of a pool.  The accommodation is also very convenient for the beach, the Canal du Midi or exploring the mountains and countryside.  

This South of France holiday home is in Nezignan L'Eveque.  Nezignan l''Eveque is a small Languedoc village, nestling in the vineyards, 13km from the Mediterrean coast, between the towns of Beziers and Montpellier.  The village has a range of shops including a baker, butcher - mobile, newsagent, grocer, post office, tourist office, hairdresser, bar, hotel/restaurant and medical centre. Nezignan L'Eveque holds a Music andWine Festival every July. Other celebrations include Fete l'Ete (June), Bastille (July), Fete Local (July) and Fete Figues (August.)

A 5 minute drive from the lively medival town of Pezenas, home of Moliere, with its period architecture and a great choice of restaurants, pavement cafes, art galleries, museums, boutiques and a wonderful Saturday market.  There is 3 pool lido in Pezenas also.

The nearest seaside resort is Marseillan-Plage to the south, which is the start of several kilometres of sandy beach. Marseillan itself is a popular resort, and the small town has a wide range of eating places. The nearest beach is 13km away at Vias plage.

Discounts may be available for bookings of ore than 4 consecutive weeks.  A deposit of € 100.00 is payable on booking.  The house is equipped with all you will need for a holiday stay, including bedding and towels, except beach towels, and an initial supply of tea, coffee etc.

If required, the owner will be pleased to get in an initial supply of foodstuffs, bearing in mind the local supermarkets are mostly closed on Sundays.

Keys - the owner will meet you upon your arrival in Nezignan to hand you the keys and show you your holiday home, and offer any help or advice you may need during your stay.
