This traditional villa in South of France is set within 3 acres of land and Mediterranean gardens with a large feature swimming pool where the owners welcome pets. The garden has a large organic vegetable patch that you can help yourself too and wonderful plants and flowers of the Languedoc region. The villa is comfortable and has adequate space for 6 people in 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin room, 3 bathrooms, an open space living room with bar area. The kitchen with all appliance leads to the terrace that is on the side of the magnificent swimming pool. If you are an animal lover, you will enjoy the company of the duck that chose this property as his abode. The duck just arrived one morning, 5 years ago, had a look at the surroundings, started playing with the house dog and the chickens, and stayed there.

You enter the property through secure gates on the drive there is parking for at least 3 cars. You are immediately surrounded by olive trees, fruit trees, palms and lavender bushes. You walk up steps to the house entrance where there is a petanque area and next to the house there is an open spaced roof covered summer kitchen with fridge, microwave, TV, table and comfortable chairs.

Once you have stepped up from the drive-way to the main house, the house is mainly all on 1 floor and you can move from the house to the terraces and the pool without much of an effort. Main level has 2 bedrooms - 1 with en-suite and also a very large family bathroom. The third bedroom is on the second floor via a spiral stairs, has a large wall mounted TV, a double bed and a small balcony overlooking the front terrace. This bedroom is equipped with an en-suite shower room. A modern kitchen with all modern conveniences - microwave, oven, hob, dishwasher, coffee machine. The modern washing machine is downstairs beside the un-finished game room (should be ready for next year). There is a large living room with comfortable seating for 8 people and a very large flat screen TV. All of this level leads onto the garden.

Outside - you have acres of land beautifully planted and a large swimming pool with water feature. Lots of fruit trees and vegetables growng that you can help yourself to during your stay. There is a lovley covered seating area in the garden with chairs and tables wonderful for an aperatif on a summer''s night.

Last visited September 2008. The pictures do not do this wonderful garden and pool justice - they are magnificant. The owner is a landscape gardener and has created a sanctury to sit in. This villa in South of France is well equipped for 6 people but I doubt you would spend much time inside! Pets are welcome and it is suitable for the elderly or people with reduced mobility.
