The Languedoc Roussillon coast is a short drive away with some of the best beaches in the South of France to be found 20 minutes from the holiday cottage. In the village of Tourbes nearby there is an excellent restaurant and in nearby Valros there is the reknowned Auberge de la Tour. Pezenas also offers a host of good restaurants including L'Entre Pots and Le Printemps. The village has a range of shops including a baker, butcher, newsagent, grocer, post office, pharmacy, tourist office, hairdresser, bar, and medical centre.

A 5 minute drive from the lively medival town of Pezenas, home of Moliere, with its period architecture & a great choice of restaurants, pavement cafes, art galleries, museums, boutiques & a super Saturday market.

The Canal du Midi, listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO is 15 minutes away. The canal is ideal for hiring barges, cycling or walking along the towpath.

Set in beautiful scenery 12 minutes towards Beziers is Saint-Thomas golf course which offers 18-holes for all levels throughout the year. You will get a discount if you are staying here.

There is superb walking available in the Montagnes Noires, there is also Lac Salagou for wonderful freshwater lake swimming & water sports.
