These holiday cottages in France are located in the lovely little village of Aumes near Pezenas in the Languedoc region of the South of France. The first gite is a 1 bedroom gite (35m2) with en suite bathroom. The second gite has two bedrooms (en suite) and comprises of 50m2 accommodation. There is a private terrace equipped for al fresco dining which looks across the vines. The accommodation is fresh and modern and comfortable. There is a living/dining room with fitted kitchen with hob, fridge/freezer, grill and microwave. In the living room is a bed settee, table and chairs and television. The large sliding windows open from the living area on to a private terrace with garden and dining area with table, chairs and BBQ. There is a bedroom with double bed and an ensuite bathroom with w.c., basin, washing machine and shower. The front of the property provides off street parking.

Last visited September 2009. These are two great little holiday cottages in France, are near to the beaches and the lovely old town of Pezenas. Set amongst the vineyards these holiday gites are a great location for walking or cycling or visiting the other sites of the Languedoc region. The owners live next door and are very friendly and helpfull and can offer meals if required.
These holiday cottages in France, are in Aumes which is a peaceful and pretty village, surrounded by vines and garrigue. The holiday gites are on the edge of the village looking across the vines to the mountains of the Haut Languedoc National Park. If you are looking for accommodation from which you can walk or cycle straight in to the countryside then this is for you! On the other hand, 5 minutes by car takes you to the medieval town of Pezenas with its stretch of cafes ideal for watching the world go by and locally renowned Saturday market.
The local beach is Meze (10km away) can be followed by a meal in one of the restaurants specialising in seafood, especially the oysters from Bouzigues. The wealth of landscapes here makes for a very varied stay from the coast to the mountains with the rivers, lakes and gorges in between, not forgetting the Canal du midi. The village of Aumes itself is friendly and unspoilt.
Booking policies for these holiday cottages in France are as follows. Security deposit of 150 euros will secure your booking. Alternatively, you can send a cheque for 100 pounds. This is refunded on departure. The rent for the accommodation is due 6 weeks before arrival - this too can be paid in euros or pounds. You will be greeted and shown your gite on arrival. Welcome drink and welcome pack are offered. Evening meals are available on request - specialities include seafood and Kashmiri cuisine. All tastes can be catered for.
