Come and take a wonderfully relaxing holiday on a beautiful wine producing vineyard in the South of France. Domaine Savary gites to rent are situated in a typically beautiful landscape of vines stretching from the sea to the Cevennes hills. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed and fluent English is spoken. These traditional gites in the South of France offer comfortable accommodation for five to six people. Domaine Savary de Beauregard produces nine different wines and Christophe, whose family have produced wines for over three generations, will be happy to present these fine Languedoc wines to you personally, along with a tour of the cellar explaining how the wines are made.

Gites South of France - Facilities:

These South of France gites overlook the courtyard with views over the vineyards. The gites have comfortable furnishings and there are separate laundry facilities. The gites have their own own barbeque area with garden furniture. Christophe''s swimming pool is available for use by guests and there are loungers and a seating area. The pool is fitted with an alarm but is unfenced and therefore care needs to be taken with children.

The gites are on three floors and can sleep up to six people. On the ground floor is the living room/kitchen with table, chairs, cooker, fridge and dish washer. The bathroom is on the ground floor and contains shower, wash basin and toilet. Upstairs is a sitting room overlooking the courtyard. On this floor also is a twin bedroom. Steps lead up from the sitting room to the other two bedrooms which both have double beds. The gites are situated across the courtyard from the main building and has a very pleasant terrace with a trellis covered in greenery in summer providing shade for the outside eating area.

The Domaine Savary de Beauregard is situated in between the towns of Montignac and Meze (with its harbour and oyster beds). Pezenas is 15 minutes away by car and Montpellier is a 30 minute drive.

There are 2 gites available to rent, either separately or together for larger groups.

Gites South of France - Prices

These Gites in South of France are available for rent on a weekly basis. The weekly prices are as follows:

Low season (Nov- April): €440

Mid season (May - June): €900

Mid season (SEpt - October): €770

High season (July - August ): €1100

If you are 2 people you will get a 20% reduction in priceout of high season.

Last visited September 2009. Domaine Savary de Beauregard offers a wonderful opportunity to stay on a working vineyard - you can see how the wine is produced and sample the product! The gites offer simple, practical accommodation and the setting is wonderful. If you are looking for a rural gites in the South of France for up to 6 people, close to Pezenas and the beaches, then this could be ideal for you.
