Last visited April 2009. Mas Pauline is in a stunning location at the top of a mountain, in the forest with wonderful views.  The apartment rental is comfortable and practical and offers full use of the hotel's facilities. If you don't want to cook one night you can use the restaurant or have take away pizza.  A great location for walkers and cyclists.  Be aware the last 3km is on an un-adopted road. This Ceret apartment rental, France, is near the town of Ceret which is a short distance by car nestling into the  mountain range - with cobbled lanes,cafes, restaurants and the art gallery which draws people all year round to their exhibitions.  Artists from all across France and Catalan Spain have regularly exhibited their work here, including Picasso, Matisse and Dali.  There are many small galleries, artistic groups, workshops and classes to be found. The colourful Saturday market is bustling and lively with local produce; wine, honey, cheese, with musicians entertaining the visitors.

The nearby coastal towns of Argeles and St. Cyprien offer all the usual coastal facilities; shops, restaurants, bars with over 3 miles of wide sandy beach flanked by a flat promenade walk.  A visit to Collioure, an historic picturesque coastal fishing village is a must.
