You have the best of both worlds, the charm of an old French town, combined with easy access to the beaches, facilities and nightlife of Marseillan and Cap d'Agde. Within walking distance of the property is the harbour and a number of restaurants, bars and shops.
This holiday cottage South France is just a three minute walk away from the harbour. Here you will find cafes and restaurants selling top quality food for excellent value for money. The Languedoc is renowned for its shellfish and you do not have to go very far to sample mussels and oysters harvested from nearby. A glorious sandy beach is located just three kilometers away at Marseillan Plage. All the beaches along this stretch of the coast are idyllic and we would recommend you take time to explore to find your favourite.
Marseillan is an exceptionally pleasant and attractive small town, one of the few remaining unspoilt harbours in the South of france, lying close to the sea but not on it. The house is located in the inner part of the old Marseillan town which is very "picturesque". The Languedoc Coast and beaches are only 5 minutes away by car. On this lovely beach going from Sete to Marseillan you can always find room. If you fancy walking the Cevennes just 1 hour ride by car. There is a local market in Marseillan twice a week. On tuesday morning Marseillan hosts a traditional market with food, clothing and housekeeping.

Mid stay cleaning can be requested at a cost of 45 euros paid direct to the lady that services the house. Mid stay linen change can be requested at a cost of 8 euros a person. There may be an extra charge during colder weather for the use of electric heaters.
You can reach this holiday cottage South France by taking the A9 to just north of Beziers. Come off at Junction 34 and take the N312 to Agde/Cap d'Agde. Follow the signposts for Agde centre Ville. When you reach the River Herault that flows through the centre of Agde, follow the signposts to Marseillan. You will cross over the River and arrive at a roundabout. Cross straightover the roundabout towards Marseillan. Marseillan is a 3 minutes drive from both Agde and cap d'Agde.
