This large holiday home is ideal for families or large groups to spend their holiday in the South of France. The house has a large garden, a private pool and hot tub. Le Marandou provides total peace & quiet - surrounded sunflower and wheat fields in each direction. The house comes with 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms and the large kitchen, 2 living rooms and games room provide plenty of space for guests of all ages. Nearby you will find restaurants, the Canal du Midi and Carcassonne Castle on your door step.

The holiday home is located just outside the beautiful village of Labastide d'Anjou. In the village you will find a celebrated restaurant, shops, a pharmacy, boulangerie and post office.
The nearby town of Castelnaudary offers a full range of shops and services. The town is famous for Cassoulet, a slow-cooked casserole made from white beans, duck and pork. Castelnaudary was the main port on the Canal du Midi which gave the town a period of great prosperity in the 17th century. The Grand Bassin in the town is the largest open area of water on the canal, and is today its major pleasure port.
The medieval town of Revel is a very pretty place. The main square has a beautiful covered market hall topped by a bell tower and is lined with old town houses.

The area is ideal for walks and cycling trips through the beautiful countryside. The surrounding countryside features vineyards, sunflower fields and the tree-lined Canal du Midi.
